It has always been about better design, a bit of fun and entering into the unknown. In 2009, Don and I decided to make a better grill badge after Don bought his first 2009 Mini Cooper. After that, we just kept going! Designing what we liked , doing our best to listen to our customers and trying to not make GoBadges ever feel like work.
Since 2010, we have focused on helping people personalize their cars while designing a business and brand that is rewarding and enjoyable for all.
We have made great progress but have far to go. Thanks for all your support and kind words and thoughts. Your ideas and enthusiasm for GoBadges means the world to us
After tooling, testing, patent applications , inventory build and many , many late nights, (mostly by Don) we were ready to open our web site to the public. On May 15, 2010 we shipped our first GoBadge from Scott’s basement. Little did Lisa know she would soon become an expert in global shipping and customer service.
Once an Industrial Designer, always an industrial designer. Don and I continue to invent, tinker and develop new ideas.
It is the life blood of our business and the thing that keeps us going.
In 2011 we moved to our Camillus NY office where we could grow, expand and hire more help.
GoBadges made its first appearance at SEMA in Las Vegas in 2012 and 2013.
We had to borrow a friend of a friend's loading dock to ship our booth, products and recently acquired IKEA furniture.
Soon after SEMA, a warehouse was added. Our first big retail order required much more space, help, a fork lift and late night pizzas.
